Dendritic Poison ring

A wide band ring in sterling silver 925, with a round slice of dendritic quartz set in a bezel and small gold drops placed around it. The bezel opens, so the ring can hold something small that you want to keep close. It was inspired by the prayer rings I came across in Senegal in 2012.

The quartz is clear with dark fern-like markings running through it, which makes every slice different and gives the ring the feeling of a small landscape. The gold drops add warmth against the plain silver band. It is a heavy, present piece, so wear it on its own and let the stone do the talking.
