Damu

Mangrove ring Damu is a wide openwork ring in sterling silver 925, set with a deep red oval-cut garnet in a gold bezel and scattered with small gold drops. It was first carved in wax and then cast in silver, so this one exists only once.

The red of the garnet sits warm against the silver, and the gold picks that warmth up again in small points, which gives the ring a slightly vintage feeling. It has the presence of a little crown on the finger, so it carries a hand on its own, with at most one slim band next to it.
